01 · Designed 0-to-1 Website
Three weeks ago, there was no website—only a vision and a lot of complex technical jargon from a client in the healthcare AI sector. The business goal was to promote a life-saving product that uses radio-frequency tech to prevent and predict falls, through a trustworthy website that encourages users to adopt and purchase it.
I led my team in quickly transitioning from uncertainty to clarity by utilizing survey and user testing data to guide and support design decisions and iterations.
02 · Quantitative Data Analysis
I applied my UX research skills to analyze survey responses and visualize insights, revealing users’ expectations for the healthcare web and the tech that informed the information architecture and wireframe v1.
03 · Competitive Analysis
Analyzing the websites of five competitors in the healthcare industry provided design patterns and references, supporting the SWOT analysis and complementing survey insights on what and how to express concepts through UX design.
04· Guiding and Supporting My Team to Deliver Results Efficiently: Establishing a Structured Framework
Under my leadership, we moved quickly, iterating from v1 to v4 in 2 weeks and securing the CEO’s buy-in during the 3rd week, with 12 pages designed to meet business requirements and user needs. I’m also an IC with plenty of design ideas, e.g., the nav bar.
05· Data-Informed Design Decisions
Usability testing data and feedback from caregivers and the client’s medical team informed rapid iterations, enabling us to create a working, scalable framework.
06· Handoff Documentation & Scalable Design System for Future Plan
Branding and creative strategy are shaped by analyzing competitor websites and considering client preferences. Modular and reusable components: cards in both vertical and horizontal layouts for responsive design and ongoing mobile app development.
